Imek Precision began trading in September 1992 as authorised distributor for HEIDENHAIN (GB) LTD.

Imek Precision Are Responsible for all the sales and service of Heidenhain equipment within the allowed area, which currently covers the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Hereford and Worcester and Mid-Wales.

The Majority of the equipment serviced are linear and rotary optical

encoders fitted for manual and CNC machines.

Encoders UK Ltd was set up in March 1994 to increase sales on rotary

encoders NATIONWIDE and specialise in this field for quicker response to emergency requirements.

It is now possible to design and manufacture any currently available encoder, or re-design a bespoke encoder for your own application.

IMEK/Encoders UK Ltd are now preferred suppliers for large blue chip companies such as GKN GROUP, ROLLS ROYCE, LUCAS AEROSPACE, DOWDING & MILLS PLC and ROVER GROUP etc.
